Happy Valentine’s Day! While this holiday gets a lot of flak from those who think it’s too commercial, personally I’ve always enjoyed it! Yes, there’s candy and flowers and a fair amount of retail chaos, but I prefer to focus on what Valentine’s Day is supposed to be about—celebrating love! :-)
I may be a bit biased towards Valentine’s Day though, as it marks the day when Dave asked me to marry him back in 1987. Though we’ve certainly had our fair share of ups and downs, we’ll always be each other’s “valentine!” (He is, after all, the love of my life, my partner through thick and thin, the father of my children, and my best friend!) :-)
We always look forward to celebrating together in some way, which usually involves a special dinner and exchanging gifts. But I’ve also been working on something that I think will make not only our at-home Valentine’s date a little more special, but that I hope will enhance your Valentine’s plans too!
Because I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again—no occasion is complete without a little music! That’s why I’ve put together a Valentine’s Day playlist featuring several of my all-time favorite love songs, and I’m excited to share it with all of you today! :-)

A Digital Valentine, From Me To You!
In my Valentine’s With Jillee playlist, I simply had to include the two songs that Dave and I consider to be “our songs,” which are “Crazy For You” by Madonna and “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now” by Starship (formerly known as Jefferson Starship.) It also includes a few favorite love songs and heartfelt ballads chosen by members of the OGT Team (including my daughter-in-law Kaitlyn and son Erik’s song “You’re the Reason I Come Home” by Ron Pope.)
I also included songs contributed by OGT readers on social media, particularly via the OGT Inner Circle and Instagram. (I reach out on these channels fairly regularly to get input for blog posts that I’m working on, and I’d love for you to join the conversation! Create an OGT Free account to join the Inner Circle, or follow me on Instagram at @byjillee.)

I’ll be listening to Valentine’s With Jillee all weekend long, and I hope you enjoy it too! Just like with my Christmas playlist that I shared over the holidays, I’ve made my Valentine’s playlist available to stream via Amazon Music, Apple Music, and Spotify. Use the buttons below to access the playlist through your preferred streaming service!
Note: Most music streaming services require you to sign in with an account to listen to a full playlist. If you don’t have an existing account, Amazon Prime Music offers a free 30-day trial, and Spotify offers a free account option if you’re willing to listen to the occasional ad!
